Youth Trips

Each year, LJEC offers the opportunity for high school juniors (whose parents/guardians are members of LJEC) to travel to Washington, DC or Steamboat Springs, CO - all expenses paid. Both of these trips are an excellent opportunity for students to learn valuable leadership skills while also seeing the sights on their respective trips.

Students (high school juniors) are required to complete an application, complete a quiz on the history of electric cooperatives and complete a personal interview with former trip winners at the LJEC offices.
